Tell us about your photography style?

My photography style is a combination of editorial and fine art. I’m inspired by high end fashion and film photography. I love the look of analogue film and the character it brings to images. My photography is on the lighter side but it’s still in tune with real life colours and tones that are enhanced in post production. I’m very bridal focussed so you’ll be sure to have some fabulous portraits from your wedding day!

How can a future Bride best prepare for her wedding photos?

Ditch the iPhone selfies and get your digital compact out! Practice having photos taken with a camera and not a phone. The lenses are completely different and it’s good to learn your angles in front of a digital camera! This can be done by a friend/ relative/ fiancé or you could book an engagement shoot with your photographer to help you ease into posing. This will get you used to the idea of having your photo taken. The best times of day to have portraits is once the sun has started to go down and isn’t as harsh, try to avoid midday sun. If it is sunny and you’re limited for time, always make sure your shadow is right in front of you with the sun behind. This will prevent harsh shadows on your face and body.
